By now you’ve seen the commercial with the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul, Mary J. Blige driving around picking up former incar-nations of herself. Pretty fly commercial to say the least and the whip she’s driving, the new Chevy Traverse is a fly Crossover vehicle in its own right.
With gas prices getting back to normal, a crossover vehicle is probably a good bet for those who want decent gas mileage and a roomy ride. The Traverse takes a lot of its style and design from the highly successful Malibu. Like many of the new Chevy vehicles the front end has bold lines and an aggressive stance. A good blend of safety, space and style, the Traverse provides amenities and room that’s normally only found in larger vehicles. The vehicle seats 7-8 adults comfortably.
With the crossover market cluttered with overpriced and some subpar vehicles out there it’s good to see Chevy come out with a vehicle that hits the mark with performance, features and style. The Traverse won’t really wow you in any category but its appeal is it does everything right.
The 3.6L V-6 direct fuel injected powered Traverse is available in 3 different models. Pricing for front-wheel-drive Traverse models, including the destination freight charge, begins at $28,990 for LS; $31,545 for LT and $39,810 for the top-of-the-line LTZ. All-wheel-drive models begin at $30,990 for LS; $33,545 for LT and $41,810 for LTZ.
