Well, sort of...

We know we’ve probably gone a little overboard with the Obama love today, but what can we say? It’s not everyday the first 100 Days of a black President (and his First Lady) doesn’t happen often (or like, ever). So, for good measure, VIBE is putting you on to an album we’re pretty sure the President approves of (no shots, Ludacris!).

Change Is Now: Renewing America’s Promise (Hidden Beach, 2009) is the official music and video collection of the Inauguration. Previously only available at the Inauguration store, which was open exclusively for Inauguration weekend festivities back in January, it is now available for purchase at stores nationwide. The first disc is a compilation of songs performed by a star-studded lineup of artists, including the album’s current single, “All About the Love Again” by Stevie Wonder. Other contributions come from will.i.am (“It’s A New Day”), Lenny Kravitz (“Change”), Robin Thicke (“Dreamworld”), Common (“Changes”) and many more.

But the biggest name worth checking out on this collection is the President himself. Change Is Now includes a DVD featuring eight speeches from Obama’s historic 2008 presidential election. From his announcement for president to his election night victory speech, the speeches that inspired millions to come to the polls last November are all here. Question is can you really blast one of Obama’s speeches solely for your listening pleasure? With this one, yes you can.
