Chris Brown, "This Christmas"
Not mad at ya boy singing a mature number such as this. Theme song for the movie "This Christmas," in which Brown co-stars, of course.
Seriously, without all those flashing Swizz-y kick-drums and pulsating "chicks dig me"party synths, your boy Chris Brown cleans up nice. And on this theme song to "This Christmas," he seems like... a man. After a wildly mediocre sophomore album - don't get me wrong, the first one was great - this is the kind of look he needs. I think I'd like Chris better if he balanced his dance-class jammy jams with this kind of soul ballad - his voice is better suited for it, anyway.
