The “Pied Piper of R&B,” who now simply goes by the name “R.O.B.” sat down with BET’s reporter extraordinaire Toure for his first televised interview since being acquitted of fourteen counts of child pornography.
“R. KELLY SPEAKS,” which aired yesterday, saw Kelly (real name Robert Kelly) in rare form: speaking candidly about his feelings concerning the trial that dragged on for six years.
"I can't keep answering these questions,” the singer eventually said during the interview, “If you was charged with something and you was found innocent, then you can't be found guilty for being found innocent."
The Grammy award-winning star also addressed his former “team” and brother expressed concern over his alleged preference for underage girls.
