First States Are In!

CNN has just called the first two states of the night and... Mitt Romney has an early lead! So far, it seems that the race in Kentucky is over, and its eight electoral votes should go to Romney. Barack Obama registered his first win of the night, taking Vermont and its three electoral votes.

We've got a long night ahead, with many polls closed at 7PM. If your polls haven't closed yet, get out and vote!

8PM UPDATE: Looks like we can add a few more for each candidate. Romney should take West Virginia, Kentucky, South Carolina, Oklahoma, and Indiana. Obama will add Most of New England (not New Hampshire yet), plus his home state of Illinois, VP Joe Biden's home state of Delaware, and Maryland.
