What a disgrace to President Obama and the citizens of America!
Yesterday (Nov. 7), the Channel 11 News crew visited a McDonald's in Follansbee, W.Va., where an American flag was flying upside down and at half-staff on the morning after the election. Allegedly, the flag was taken down at 11:30 a.m.
Seen as a sign of distress, patrons and people passing by were shocked by the display. Was this a sign of disapproval in Obama's re-election? Thew news-station says they were told told it was the "owner's decision." However, owner Karen Mezan, told Channel 11 that the upside down flag was simply a mistake.
Local veterans and concerned citizens were outraged and aren't buying the explanation. Mezan went onto say that the person putting up the flag didn't realize what happened because it was dark outside, and that it was adjusted immediately at 4:30am local time.
The photo clearly shows the flag hanging in broad daylight.
What do you think really happened?

"I just want to say: I am a manager at that McDonald's. The flag was to be flown at half-staff as per McDonald's Corporation. As for it being flown upside down--it was a complete and total accident. NO ONE at our store would PURPOSELY fly the flag upside down. Our flag pole is actually broken, and we are unable to move the flag."
