Cee-Lo is finding himself in more trouble with the opposite sex. The Grammy winning singer-songwriter and judge on NBC’s hit singing competition show The Voice was reportedly involved in a fight with two women in Miami Beach in July 2011.
According to TMZ, the bombastic showman is claiming that he was the victim of a physical assault that took place after Cee-Lo invited two women back to his hotel room following a night of clubbing. Law enforcements reports show that when the women began to argue with Cee-Lo he asked them to both leave. That’s when all hell broke loose. Cee-Lo and a witness both told police that after being escorted out of the room, one of the intoxicated women called the artist a “fat motherfucker.” Cee-Lo reportedly answered, “You need to leave, bitch.”
The argument continued as Cee-Lo said the woman assaulted him, slapping him in the face repeatedly. Meanwhile the other woman allegedly jumped the former Gnarls Barkley member from behind, hitting him on the head. Police were instantly called in, and because the incident was believed to be mutual “combat,” no arrests were made.
The police report is just the latest incident involving Cee-Lo. The singer, who is embroiled in a sexual assault case, recently received some positive news concerning the case. As last reported, sources claim that Cee-Lo met his accuser back in 2011 at a Super Bowl party, which resulted in an on-again, off-again relationship since. It's also being said that the woman, who hails from Houston, is fabricating the whole case to salvage another relationship she's having with a man back home.—Keith Murphy (@murphdogg29)
