Florida Woman Drives 100MPH Because She Says God Told Her To

As the religious saying goes, God take you to it then through it. But this Florida woman was racing like the devil because she claims Jesus was taking the wheel.

Melissa Miller, 41, of Port St. Lucie was driving 100 mph when police pulled her over early Tuesday after catching her speeding and blowing her horn. Miller said her actions were “because I was letting the Lord spirit [sic] guide me,” and that she beeped long and hard because “the Lord telling me to do it,” Huffington Post reports.

Divine intervention did not stop the arresting officers by following the law books. She was arrested on charges of reckless driving, speeding and violation of her probation for leaving the scene of an accident with injuries. Miller was placed under $375 bail but in God’s time, the truth will surely set her free.
