Ndamukong Suh Speeding Ticket Adds To Rough Week

/ November 27, 2012

Fresh off the news that he will not suspended for last week’s groin kicking episode, Detroit Lions lineman Ndamukong Suh is back in the news. News emerged that Detroit Police issued Suh a speeding ticket earlier this month, after Suh was allegedly speeding and illegally passing cars on a suburban Detroit street.

Suh has had numerous driving issues, including a citation earlier this year for doing 91 MPH in a 55 MPH zone, and a minor accident last month. He is being sued by a woman who claims she was injured in a 2011 crash for $1 million.

A Suh speeding ticket is the latest bad rap for the big man, who caught flack on Thanksgiving Day after appearing to kick Houston Texans QB Matt Schaub in the groin. Schaub said earlier this week that he would not want Suh on his team. Suh was suspended for two games last season after stomping on an opposing player, also on Thanksgiving Day. Thankfully, a Suh speeding ticket can’t draw a 15-yard penalty, but it may draw fines.
