Big Kuntry King Talks His New Single "Peach Crush" & Biggest Lesson He's Learned

Big Kuntry King could be rap's newest heir to the throne.

The Charleston-born MC is no newcomer in the sense that he has been on the scene since the early 2000s' with a string of "Cocaine" mixtapes and his hit "Da Baddest" featuring a cornrow-ed Trey Songz.

When it comes to his latest offering "Peach Crush," the Grand Hustle signee says it's a slight departure from his former ladies' man persona. "It's like the original Big Kuntry King...before I started messin' with the ladies with "Da Baddest," King recalls. "I still got love for the ladies and still got songs for the ladies but I just wanted to start out fresh, put out "Peach Crush" and it got a college-feel, club-feel as far as gettin' high and havin' fun."

And though he's clocked in some time in the biz, he has learned a lot as a developing artist. "The biggest lesson I learned is the day you quit could've been the day you made it."
