The cycle of life continues...
Dina Manfredini, the world’s oldest person, passed away this morning in Johnston, Iowa. She was 115 years old.
Guinness World Records confirmed the title of world's oldest living person just shy of two weeks ago. Her cause of death has not been released.
The next in line for the title is believed to be a Japanese Jiroemon Kimura, who was born on April 19, 1897, according to Guinness spokesman Robert Young. He is 15 days younger than Manfrendi.
