Lil Flip Lands In Jail For Alleged Drugs and Weapon Possession

Wesley Eric Weston, better known by his rap name Lil' Flip, has landed behind bars on alleged weapon and drug charges.

The Houston rapper was reportedly stopped by police early Wednesday morning for speeding on Interstate 49 in DeSoto Parish, and taken into custody when authorities found drugs and weapons in his possession. In a police report, deputies found marijuana and a Bushmaster AR-15 assault rifle, according to VHOPNation. The 2010 Dodge Challenger Flip was driving was also occupied by Olanza Sanders of Shreveport.

It didn't keep the "Game Over" MC from begging for help on the Innanet, posting on his Twitter account, "FREE LIL FLIP!!! http://fb.me/1mJmuZ2ps."

Sgt. Chatko Atkins says Weston remains in prison on bonds totaling $35,300 while Sanders was released on a $25,000 bond. Both men have prior narcotics arrests on their rap sheets.
