Alec Monopoly: The Graffiti Artist Behind the Mask On His New Madonna Installation

Alec Monopoly: The Graffiti Artist Behind the Mask On His New Madonna Installation

VIBE Posted January 2, 2013

Just like the Monopoly Man, artist Alec Monopoly wears a top hat but his face is usually covered. Here, the elusive street artist talks to VIBE TV about his new Madonna installation and his love for bombing walls. "My true passion is doing graffiti and walls. Wynwood Walls [district, in Miami] is just an amazing area and it's involved to this, were they are allowing us to paint on all these walls without us having to worry about getting arrested," the artist told VIBE during Art Basel. Monopoly stays behind the mask, but isn't shy when it comes to his evolving art.
