10 Most Revealing Things From 50 Cent's Recent Interview

Despite temporarily falling ill, 50 Cent has been making his rounds with a series of interviews to help promote his upcoming mixtape with DJ Drama. 50 spoke with Funkmaster Flex, Peter Rosenberg, XXL and Jack Thriller about a variety of topics including gay marriage, his fans, his efforts to help wold hunger, Jay-Z, Eminem, Game and more. Check out the 10 most revealing things from 50 Cent's recent interviews.

On Eminem
“I put him in a space I put my grandparents at..someone who took care of me when I couldn’t take care of myself.”

On Jay-Z
“Jay-Z can write anything, look how long he’s been going for.”

On famine
"Since I did the SK Project and I partner with the United Nations world food program, I got a lot of different feedback from people online. Through social networks and through the Twitter. I read the comments and see 'em saying 'People hungry here Fif.' You're doing things on a worldwide level because the music's taking you places that you didn't even expect to go. You see how famine is effecting Africa and how many people-- the numbers are huge."

On gay marriage
“I think everyone should be happy. I think a fool is going to go against same sex marriage at this point. The President…look how long it took him to say he was for same sex marriages. You understand? I’m up for it. If everyone else is for it, then hey, to each his own. I don’t have personal feelings towards it because I’m not involved in that lifestyle. I want people to be happy. It makes for everything to be better.”

On heterosexual organizations
“So in process, we need organizations for straight men. We do. We need organizations for straight men in the case you’ve been on the elevator and somebody decides they want to grab your little buns. Times are changing. Those organizations are set up for at one point they were being attacked for those choices. Now its completely different. Obviously [homosexuality] is more socially accepted."

On Lloyd Banks
“There’s a point where artists need to go and develop on their own and I think he reached that point. He should executive produce his own project. He been picking his own music. Now it’s time for them to find that manager, those outside people who can completely focus on their projects and take them to that next level.”

On Game
“They looking at me saying, ‘You’ve done a lot, but what have you done for me lately?’ So they damn sure don’t care about what he doing.”

On Mase
“[Diddy] picked up Mase, I thought he was gonna come back and see me with the paper later. He asked me for $2 million. Jimmy [Iovine] like, ‘Mase ain’t worth $2 million with $2 million in his pocket.’ Jimmy like, ‘Look, I wanna see this thing happen. Let’s make this thing happen and I’ll give up my profit.’ I’ve never heard him say that ever. I think [Puff] had an issue with losing Mase to me.”

On the fans
"To me, hip-hop consumers are like crackheads. They gonna cop from whoever got some good sh*t and as long as you got something that can get them high momentarily, they're happy with you and then they're gonna look for whoever else."

On competition
"It's always 10 in the top 10. So whenever you feel like you're bigger than the actual artform itself, you're in for a rude awakening."
