In a recent interview with MSNBC, Elton John revealed he was “incredibly moved” by Jay-Z’s decision to support gay marriage.
He’s “probably the most respected African-American artist,” he said to host, Andrea Mitchell.
The British artist also mentioned he called the rapper to thank him for his courage after he made his initial statement and calls his stance “pivotal.”
“When I next see him I’m going give him the biggest hug,” John later said.
