A: Nah, I’m still searching for my best Valentine's Day. I don’t have one yet. I’m gonna need some of these ladies in my life to step their game up, man. That’s why I’m gonna put out a blog this week about things women can do for their man on Valentine's Day and that pole thing is definitely gonna be on top of the list.
If you could have any celebrity be your valentine, who would it be?
You know, I’m not really into celebrity girls like that but probably Salma Hayek. Salma Hayek is bad.
What are some tips you would give to guys or girls?
Try to think outside of the box instead of focusing on how much money you spend. Think about things you could do together to create a memory that’s gonna last. I think, a lot of times, we get consumed in how big the gift is or how much money somebody spent, but if you take time and really pick out something that they would really like to do—maybe a wine tasting or outdoors activities, maybe you can go to a gun range together-- just kind of create a memory together that’s going to last beyond the gifts you may get right now. I think that’s going to help to stretch the bond between you guys. We know you’re going to do the dinner; that’s a given. You’re going to do that. You’re gonna do the wine and you’re gonna do the roses. Those are things we already know you’re gonna do, so the biggest tip for me would be to do something somebody else might not have thought to do. You keep a memory in their mind, and next Valentine's Day, if they happen not to be with you, they’re like, ‘Damn, I remember last Valentine's Day I was with this person and they did this for me.' It becomes something that lasts forever.
Have you ever been in love?
I still haven’t been there yet. I think that being in love is kind of like a miracle because you get put on this earth, and you find that one other person, that soul mate. I think it’s kind of a miracle to find that person and really know that that’s’ that person. I just feel like I haven’t gotten there yet, but maybe one day I can find that miracle in my life.
So since you haven’t really fallen in love, what are five signs you’re really starting to like someone?
Thinking about them a lot. Talking to them a lot. Wanting to call them more often. I’ve never been a guy to be on the phone held up for hours. If I’m able to be on the phone with you for hours, that’s a big sign for me feeling somebody. Wanting to buy them things. Wanting to spoil them. If I feel like I need to start spoiling her, then I know I really like her.
