4. Lil WayneIf we're being honest here, Lil Wayne's been missing since, hmm, about 2006. At his pinnacle, the YMCMB president was an undefeated, bar-spitting animal, heir to Hov's throne and mixtape champ. Now, however, he's excruciatingly missed. But it isn't because he's not spitting bars; they're just... forgettable.
I Am Not A Human Being II was blatantly vulgar and lazy, but his lyrical wordplay on his recent Dedication 5 restored hope of Mixtape Weezy's return. Most certainly, he's deserving of a nod for his classic hits or indelible legacy. Even the current prom king and queen of hip-hop–Nicki Minaj and Drake–were birthed under Wayne's watch. But in 2014, the Weezy F. Baby we used to know should step from behind his students and make a comeback, guns (metaphorically) blazing.
