On Saturday night, Lil Wayne helped Floyd Mayweather set the tone for his big match against Marcos Maidana. Armed with a microphone and a new single called "Believe Me," Weezy rapped and got the crowd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas excited while Money Mayweather and his Money Team (which includes pop star Justin Bieber these days) made their way to the ring. It was a spectacle to say the absolute least and proved that no one—and we do mean no one—makes an entrance quite like Mayweather. Before he even set foot in the ring, he had Twitter going wild.
Mayweather isn't the only boxer who has ever employed a rapper to escort him to the ring, though. In fact, if you're a boxer trying to make it in 2014 and you're not using a rapper to get the crowd hyped up before a match, you're doing something wrong. To prove this, we put together a list of 10 rappers who have escorted boxers out before big fights. This is how you get the audience on your side before the opening bell.
