Carmelo Anthony Is Fed Up
There’s no telling whether Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony is happy in New York City. However, we do know he hears the critics, he reads the tweets and he’s had enough with his team underperforming. So, he took matters into his hands and scored a franchise record 62 points. The man is one of the world’s best, faces unfair criticism (how do you blame a scorer for scoring?) and never complains about it. He just gets buckets.
Breaking Kobe Bryant’s building record and Knicks great, Bernard King’s team record on the same night can’t be done unless you have a serious desire to win and a high level of focus. The second half of the season will be especially fun for Knicks fans, as they’ll likely sneak their way into the playoffs and back into Eastern Conference contender conversation.
