He Can Go Toe-To-Toe With The Immortals
Proof: “Dead Wrong”—The Notorious B.I.G. (2000)
Jumping on a posthumous song with one of the greatest MC’s of all-time can be a risky endeavor. Which is why Eminem’s appearance on Biggie’s resurrecting “Dead Wrong” was so impressive. Mr. Mathers’ saw Brooklyn’s finest off-the-cliff, maniac, ultra violent, Ready To Die era split personality (“When I get dusted, I like to spread the blood like mustard”) and raised him with his own crazy-ass-white boy lunacy (“There's several different levels to devil worshipping: horse's heads, human sacrifices, cannibalism/Candles and exorcism/Animals having sex with 'em/Camels, mammals and rabbits/But I don't get into that, I kick the habit…”). Somewhere, Biggie is still cracking up.
