The 10 Strangest Celebrity House Break-Ins of All-Time
Earlier this month, a man named Quamine Taylor had the time of his life at Diddy's mansion in East Hampton, N.Y. On April 1, Taylor decided that he wanted to get out of the city for awhile. So, he bought a train ticket to East Hampton, found himself a fresh change of clothes at Diddy's place when he got there, guzzled down some Ciroc, and then hit the sheets for a nice, peaceful sleep. He had quite the time, as you'd probably expect. After all, it's Diddy's house. The only problem? Taylor doesn't actually know Diddy! So, what the mentally-ill man did earned him trespassing and larceny charges and some time in a local jail.
Pretty crazy stuff, right? It almost (almost!) makes us glad that we're not famous. Sure, the glitz and the glamour are probably nice. But, can you imagine coming home and seeing a strange person in your house? The Celebrity: 50 Cent
The Trespasser: Santos Padilla and Alexander Hernandez
Why It Was So Strange: In December 2010, security guards at Fif's mansion in Connecticut called police when they noticed a strange car parked in the driveway. Cops arrived and found two men inside who had entered through an unlocked door. Padilla was found wandering around the residence. But, Hernandez was caught hiding in a closet and chugging a bottle of wine that he'd stolen from 50's liquor cabinet.
The Celebrity: Simon Cowell
The Trespasser: Leanne Zaloumis
Why It Was So Strange: While Cowell was inside his mansion in West London last month, Zaloumis broke in, laid in his bed, checked out his bathroom, and moved from room to room with a brick in her hand. Eventually, Cowell himself bumped into her in a bedroom and called police.
The Celebrity: Kim Kardashian
The Trespasser: An unnamed man
Why It Was So Strange: The man showed up outside of Kim K's Los Angeles home in February 2012 carrying a bunch of luggage and told security guards that he was working on her new reality show. He also said that Kim herself had offered him a place to stay and he refused to leave when they denied him access to the home. She decided to start looking for a new place to live as a result of the incident.
The Celebrity: Celine Dion
The Trespasser: Daniel Bedard
Why It Was So Strange: In July 2011, Bedard managed to scale a fence, sneak into Dion's Canadian mansion through the garage, eat a bunch of food out of her refrigerator, and even draw himself a bath before police arrived. When they got there, he was standing at the top of the home's big staircase and asked, "Hey, guys, what are you doing here?" Their response: "What are you doing here?"
The Celebrity: Charlie Sheen
The Trespasser: David Pack
Why It Was So Strange: In March 2011, the LAPD raided Sheen's home because they got reports indicating that he might have firearms inside. After the raid was over, a large collection of paparazzi and curious citizens gathered outside of Sheen's estate. Pack managed to use that distraction to break onto the property and roam around outside before he was eventually arrested by one of Sheen's security people. And, to make things even stranger, his father later asked Sheen to pay his son's $1000 bail for him.
The Celebrity: Lindsay Lohan
The Trespasser: Lonnie Short
Why It Was So Strange: On New Year's Day 2012, the 64-year-old man weaseled his way onto LiLo's Venice Beach property, knocked on the front door, and ignored her several times when she asked him to leave. So, Lohan called the cops and they arrested Short for trespassing.
The Celebrity: Kenny Chesney
The Trespasser: Melissa Carol Mansfield
Why It Was So Strange: Mansfield was arrested at 2 a.m. one night in February 2012 after she went to the country singer's home in Nashville, broke into the house, and then drank wine and smoked cigarettes by his pool. Police found her hiding out in a bathroom by the pool shortly after she triggered one of the home's alarms. Later, she tried to tell police officers that she was Chesney's girlfriend.
The Celebrity: Sylvester Stallone
The Trespasser: Damon T. Dana
Why It Was So Strange: In September 2010, Dana moved from Germany to L.A. to try and become an actor. So, how'd he try and get his big break? Well, he broke into Sly Stallone's yard, knocked out a pit bull, and then started "doing martial arts and working out" to prove that he could be a star in an action movie. He eventually got taken down by one of Stallone's security guards and arrested for trespassing.
The Celebrity: Jamie Foxx
The Trespasser: Unknown robber
Why It Was So Strange: While throwing a charity event at his home in Los Angeles, Foxx reportedly had his bedroom door unlocked and an unknown robber snuck in and stole a bunch of jewelry, watches, and even a Louis Vuitton bag. The event raised somewhere in the neighborhood of $400,000, but it's believed that about $300,000 worth of items turned up missing afterwards from Foxx's room.

The Trespasser: Richard Franco
Why It Was So Strange: Berry's experience was both strange and traumatic. In July 2011, Franco attempted to break into her home not once, not twice, but three different times—on three consecutive days! But, all three times he struggled to get over a large fence in her backyard. Eventually, he was arrested and charged with felony stalking.
