Lil' Boosie is finally home. After months and months of rumors concerning his alleged release date—it feels like he's been "getting out" for a year now—Boosie was released from Angola State Penitentiary in Louisiana last week after serving nearly five years in jail on possession of marijuana charges. He'll remain on parole until 2018. But Boosie is ready to get his career back on track immediately and has a press conference scheduled for today in New Orleans to talk about what he wants to do next.
Five years is a long time to be away from the rap game, though. A lot has changed since we last heard from Boosie. So he's not going to be able to simply pick up where he left off last and resume his career as if nothing ever happened.
