If you've been hiding under a rock (or watching the NBA playoffs), you might've missed the news about Mister Cee. Hot 97's resident afternoon DJ was arrested over the weekend for allegedly trying to solicit a prostitute. According to the New York Daily News, the alleged streetwalker turned out to be an undercover police officer. Cee, whose arrest in 2011 is still the subject of conversation, claims that the arresting officer was a woman and not a man as previously reported.
Hot 97's head honcho, Ebro Darden, alongside Cipha Sounds, Peter Rosenberg and K. Foxx, discussed the incident live on the air this morning, and allowed Mister Cee to address New York City. "I am not gay," said Cee. "I was approached by a female undercover cop." Cee went on to say that the original story reported by the Daily News was "changed," that his arrest in a heavily frequented prostitution area was just "dumb luck," and admitted that he does enjoy the company of prostitutes and pays strippers for sex.
