You’ve seen the trailers and heard the Jay-Z-helmed soundtrack, but is The Great Gatsby really worth your popcorn? The Baz Luhrmann adaptation pulled in $51.1 million at the North American box office, giving it a solid No. 2 opening under Iron Man 3. Which means plenty of people went to see if it lived up to the hype (and the book).
