3 Reasons We're Looking Forward To Seeing Frank Ocean's Performance At The 2013 Grammy Awards

3 Reasons We're Looking Forward To Seeing Frank Ocean's Performance At The 2013 Grammy Awards

VIBE Posted January 31, 2013
What did we do to deserve all this good fortune?! Earlier this week, we thought that Rihanna was the only artist that we were going to be excited to see perform at the 2013 Grammy Awards. But, over the course of the last 48 hours, we've received not one, but two major surprises from the Grammy organizers. First, they told us that Justin Timberlake would be performing at the Grammys. And, now, they've informed us that, in addition to JT, we'll also get the chance to see Frank Ocean take the stage at the Grammys. How crazy is that?

Needless to say, we're really excited to hear than Mr. Ocean will be performing at the Grammys, despite sustaining injuries during a fistfight with Chris Brown earlier this week. How excited? Excited enough to put together this list of the 3 Reasons We're Looking Forward To Seeing Frank Ocean's Performance At The 2013 Grammy Awards. Who's with us?
Reason #1: We have no idea what song he's going to perform, so we're definitely going to be surprised when he starts singing.

We're fairly confident when we say that Justin Timberlake is going to perform "Suit & Tie." But, we're really not sure what route Frank Ocean will you. If he plays it safe, he'll go with "Thinkin Bout You." But, Frank doesn't seem like a "play it safe" kind of guy, so we could literally hear anything when he takes the stage.
Reason #2: We think this means he'll at least receive one or two Grammy Awards.

The Grammy organizers wouldn't invite Frank to perform and then shut him out, right? Er, right?!? We sure hope not. We're banking on him having a big night, and we think that him getting invited to perform means that he'll get at least a couple of awards at the Grammys.
Reason #3: We have a feeling Tyler, the Creator might show up on stage with him.

How crazy would that be? Tyler might let Frank be and allow him get his solo shine. But, we also wouldn't be surprised at all if, somehow, Tyler and a few other Odd Future guys showed up on stage at some point. That would truly be wild.
