He will perform his new hit single, "Suit & Tie," off his upcoming album, The 20/20 Experience, during the live show at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 10.

Reason #1: Prior to JT being added to the lineup, there weren't many live Grammy performances we were interested in checking out.
When the Grammy performers were first announced, we have to admit that we were a little disappointed. No offense to fun. or Taylor Swift, but we hear them on the radio all the time. We know Rihanna will put on a hell of a show—or, at the very least, a show worth talking about—but we weren't blown away by any of the other performers. So, it's great to hear that JT will be joining the festivities. Something that also intrigues us: The thought of Jay-Z possibly joining him. Hmmm...

Reason #2: JT's Grammy appearance means that he definitely has new music on the way.
The Grammys will be a great platform for JT to use in order to drum up interest for his new album. And, the more interested people get in the album, the more likely it is to drop in March like it's supposed to. That's a good thing for JT—and an even better thing for us!

Reason #3: There's a chance JT will perform a new song at the Grammys.
Outside of "Suit & Tie," JT supposedly has a handful of other new songs in the stash. So, there's always the chance that he'll get the urge to perform one of his new tracks at the Grammys. It's a little bit of a longshot and we wouldn't necessarily bank on this happening. But, when it comes to the Grammys, anything can happen. So, we're certainly excited to see what kind of surprises JT has in store for us.
