So, she should get the opportunity to celebrate that year by having everyone in the music industry watch her perform. She shouldn't have to share the spotlight with Chris Brown and have everyone talking about things other than her music career. For once, she should be able to make headlines simply for her contributions to music and not for what she does in her personal life.
