The 5 Bossiest Moments From Nicki Minaj's 'My Truth' Series (Part 1)

The 5 Bossiest Moments From Nicki Minaj's 'My Truth' Series (Part 1)

Adelle Platon Posted November 5, 2012
In the first installment of Nicki Minaj's three-part E! series, My Truth, the Young Money rapstress confirmed what we already knew: she's a boss.

While shuffling in between wardrobe pulls, video shoots, studio sessions, show tapings and a perfume launch, Nicksta let the diva rear its pretty little head on several occasions. In case you need a speedy summary of the reality special, here are her five HBIC moments.

You can also opt to watch the episode in full here.
"Last minute pulls are never fun"
With less than 13 hours till her first American Idol appearance, Nicki isn't feeling any of the selections her stylist has pulled for her debut outfit. As her anxiety builds from the lack of funky in her racks, she calls out her stylist for not e-mailing her choices prior. Who got time for mistakes?
"I'll get it myself"
What happens when Mother Barbz doesn't get what she wants? She does it herself. As she struggles with her outfit choice while already running late for AI, the female spitter phones in a steamer after her entourage fails to secure her one.
"Do you really believe all the stuff you put on there?"
Nicki comes face-to-face with gossip king Perez Hilton and takes the opportunity to clear the air about her telling Rihanna to have a seat. It's not everyday an artist can confront a blogger in person.
"He wants me to get fatter!"
The artist also known as Roman sneaks in some nourishment before heading to the set of her "Boys" video shoot with Cassie, only to find her collared greens are MIA. She calls in her assistant to address the food catastrophe, to which he responds, "When I get them, you never eat them." He also packs her meal with mac and cheese while the female spitter is on a diet. Someone's getting the ax.
"Just because someone else is on set doesn't change the f**king rules!"
It's one thing to maintain your own entourage but trying to seclude a sea of randoms on set is a rule that must be obeyed on Nicki's watch. On the set of "Boys," she finds a huddle of bystanders lurking by the monitors with cell phones out, igniting an irate Minaj.
