Fort Greene's home of the cronut 2.0
Cronuts -- a croissant and donut crossbreed born in a SoHo bakery -- have started an insane foodie movement. New Yorkers flock to the shop of origin two hours prior to opening for a chance at these $5 tastebud-perkers. The flaky delicacies may be hard to get your hands on, but thanks to Le Petit Bakery, Brooklyn newcomers need not look any further. The Myrtle Avenue shop has masterfully upgraded the pastry with their "Squat," a square cronut topped with bacon bits, sprinkles and glaze. Word on the street is that they're equally, if not more, delish.
