5 Rappers Who Have Beefed With Perez Hilton In The Past

Perez Hilton beefs with more rappers than Game. Okay, so that might be slight overstatement (no one—and we do mean no one—beefs with more rappers than Game) but, if you take a look back at Perez's history, dude has gotten himself involved in more than a few beefs with rappers. Some have been his own fault, while others have been caused by the rappers themselves. But, regardless, it's clear that Perez isn't afraid to mix it up with rappers when it comes to beef.

Most recently, Perez got himself involved in a crazy beef with female rapper Azealia Banks late last week that ended badly when Banks responded to one of Perez's tweets about her by calling him a "messy faggot." She apologized later, but she was chastised by GLAAD and written off by thousands of rap fans on Twitter because of her controversial comment. So, in the end, Perez came out looking like the good guy.

The Rapper: 50 Cent
Why He Started Beefing With Perez Hilton: When Perez referred to him as a "douche bag" on Twitter in September 2010, 50 took offense and responded by saying that he was going to have one of his friends shoot up a gay wedding. He then posted a photo of people fleeing the scene of a shooting on his Twitter page and later said that he wasn't scared of the "pink mafia" when Perez responded to him.
Who Won? PEREZ. Although 50 didn't really start this beef, he took it to a level that it didn't need to be taken to when he made a reference to the shooting. "50 Cent joking about violence towards gays is about as expired as the days when he used to be musically relevant," Perez said on Twitter. Score one for Perez.

The Rapper: Nicki Minaj
Why She Started Beefing With Perez Hilton: Nicki took offense to a story that Perez printed about a feud that reportedly took place between her and her close friend Rihanna. So, she confronted him last year during part one of her three-part E! reality special, Nicki Minaj: My Truth.
Who Won? NICKI. By blindsiding Perez, she got the upper hand. She also got him to admit that not everything he prints is true. "I'm sick of you printing lies," she told him. "Do you guys really believe the sh*t you put on there?" Perez balked at the question and gave Nicki the W.

The Rapper: N.O.R.E.
Why He Started Beefing With Perez Hilton: After the Superthug got arrested in February 2009 for getting into an altercation at a Fatburger, Perez put up a condescending post on his site about N.O.R.E. That led the CNN rapper to lash out at Perez on Twitter and ignite a war of words between the two men.
Who Won? PEREZ. Although he didn't make any statements that were as controversial as the one that Azealia Banks made, N.O.R.E. did send out some politically incorrect tweets during their Twitter beef. "My Twitter is for str8 people who don't wear wigs," he wrote at one point. To which Perez responded, "At least people know who I am, bitch! xoxo." It got N.O.R.E. some free publicity, but it wasn't the kind he was really looking for.

The Rapper: will.i.am
Why He Started Beefing With Perez Hilton: We're still not 100 percent sure. But, at a music awards show in June 2009, will and Perez got into a screaming match that was caught on tape. During the argument, Perez said something that infuriated will. "You're not a f*cking artist," he said. "You're a f*cking f*ggot!" After that, things got crazy and Perez ended up with a black eye after allegedly getting punched in the face several times. will claims he didn't throw the punch, but judging by Perez's eye, someone in his camp did.
Who Won? DRAW. What Perez said definitely wasn't right, especially when he's called others out for making similar statements. But, at the same time, it wasn't right for someone to attack him, either. So, both him and will.i.am lost during this beef.

The Rapper: Game
Why He Started Beefing With Perez Hilton: Back in February 2012, Game decided to start using the hashtag "#FagSwag," which was trending at the time, on a series of tweets. And, that didn't sit well with Perez, who called him out for it.
Who Won? PEREZ. Game tried to get Perez to loosen up—"This is comedy," he tweeted at him, "stop getting ya panties all inna bunch"—but Perez was having none of it. "I don't wear panties," he tweeted at Game. "I'm not a woman. I'm a man who is discriminated against by people because of how I was born. #WeAreSimilar." You're right, Perez. As we said in the intro to this list, you and Game are similar. You both love beef.
