Reason #2: Schoolboy Q’s Oxymoron will finally dropAfter multiple delays, Schoolboy Q finally announced the released the date for his anticipated second album, Oxymoron. Q posted a video to the TDE YouTube page where he and his daughter Joy revealed the February 25 release date.
The Fig Side rapper also revealed what we can expect from Oxymoron in an “Ask Me Anything” Reddit session, including guest appearances from Raekwon and Tyler, The Creator, along with collabs we've already heard from Kendrick Lamar (their single “Collard Greens"). On top of what’s looking like a great album, Q said he'll also announce a promotional tour in the near future. As the first TDE artist to drop a project this year, Q's joint will be a good sign of things to come.
