Reason 5: Nicki makes it pretty clear that this is only the beginning for her as far as this album is concerned.
"Roman In Moscow" isn't Nicki's first single. It's not a song that's going to hit the top of the Billboard charts. It probably won't even get a proper music video. It's simply a sampling of what we can expect in February when we pop in Roman Reloaded and press play. And if the first few bars of the song are any indication—"I'm no big Willie, no bike gear/I told you b------ last year, I'm a rap b---- nightmare/That's I call you Buzz Lightyear/'Cause by the time you buzzin' b----, you gonna have white hair"—we're going to be pressing play over and over and over again when the album drops. Rap's baddest chick is reloaded. And regardless of whether she's rapping as Nicki or Roman, we like what we hear.
