Reason #2: Wiz went back to what worked on Kush & Orange Juice on a number of songs.
A lot of the songs on Kush & Orange Juice were simple. And, we don't mean that as an insult. Songs like "Up" and "In The Cut" were very minimalistic with their production and, as a result, very catchy because of all the personality that Wiz injected into them. He captures that same sentiment on Cabin Fever 2 on songs like "Deep Sleep" and "Tweak Is Heavy." He also sings on a majority of songs, too, which is something that worked for him on Kush & Orange Juice. And, most of the time, it works again here.
