5 Women Who Could Play Sherane In A ‘good kid, m.A.A.d. city’ Short Film

Kendrick Lamar’s good kid, m.A.A.d. city is a critically acclaimed work of art—almost cinematic at times.

As Kendrick’s self proclaimed “short film,” the album has a host of characters and complex individuals that play vital roles in making up the sequence of events. One character in particular is Kendrick’s “thick thighed” Sherane—his love interest, in a sense.

After our 800th listen to K. Dot’s debut masterpiece, VIBE got to thinking: who the hell is Sherane? Better yet, who could play her if Kendrick ever decided to take this project to the big screen? We used verses from the song that describe Sherane’s physical & mental attributes, and took to the casting chair to pick 5 females we feel could bring Sherane to life.
