Reason #1: At least half of the songs on Ciara sound like they could be singles.
Ciara has had a number of hit records during her decade-long career. From 2004's "Goodies" to 2010's "Ride," she's got enough hit songs to construct a greatest hits album someday. But if you take a close look at her discography, she's struggled to find strong singles in recent years. However, on Ciara, we hear at least five songs that should do well on the radio, including "I'm Out," "Body Party," "Where You Go," "Overdose" and "Livin' It Up," which sounds like it'll be playing on every radio station 24/7 any day now. And while we know that commercial success isn't always a sign of critical success, we come to Ci-Ci for hits, not deep, meaningful material. So it's nice to hear that she's got plenty of hits on Ciara.
