Reason #3: Even though there were a lot of producers who contributed to Ciara, it still sounds very cohesive.
On paper, Ciara looks like it probably shouldn't work. While Ciara's last album, Basic Instinct, was produced almost entirely by Tricky Stewart and The-Dream, Ciara has everyone from Mike WiLL Made It and Darkchild to Rock City and even Ciara herself contributing beats. That sounds like it should lead to a disaster, right? Surprisingly, the uptempo production efforts from everyone who contributed to the project work well together. There's nothing that will completely blow you away. But the consistency is pretty remarkable when you consider that, from the outside looking in, it doesn't look like Ciara was going for any one particular sound on the album due to all the producers on it.
