Beyoncé

Beyoncé’s first endorsed scent True Star was complimentary to her fresh-faced image back in 2004. It was sweet yet innocent and included Tommy Hilfiger’s signature flowery smell. But when Bey released her own perfume Heat in 2010, the singer didn’t only come equipped with a spicy scent but a very racy commercial. While the advert was accepted in the States, it was banned from daytime TV in the UK. It only boosted her sales, earning a hot three million in the first two months of its release. The singer also won two perfume titles: the Cosmetic Norwegian Award for Best Fragrance ‘In The Lifestyle’ and the Dutch Drugstore Award for ‘Best Fragrance’. Bey cannot be stopped!

Jennifer Lopez

Back when Jennifer Lopez went by JLO, she released the perfume Glow by JLO in 2002. The scent was fresh but bold. Lopez told the media that she wanted the perfume to be a part of a woman’s daily routine. “I wanted Glow to be fresh and clean but still sexy and sensual – something that feels like you just came out of the shower and are the sexiest person in the world.” The perfume went on to have multiple remixes including AfterGlow, Miami at Glow and Love at First Glow. Mission accomplished.
