Reason #3: The Marshall Mathers LP 2 is Eminem's third album—and fourth if you count Hell: The Sequel with Royce Da 5'9"—since his well-publicized return to the rap game after a battle with drug addiction.
Over the last couple weeks, we've seen more than a few people on Twitter talking about how Em "isn't the same now that he's not using drugs anymore." But you guys do realize that Em has now released a handful of albums without being under the influence of anything, right?! If anything, Em is actually getting better at recording music now that he's been sober for an extended period of time. So we wouldn't worry about his mental state right now. He has proved that he doesn't need drugs to rap in the past, and if you'e heard him spitting on "Rap God," then you know that he's rapping as well as he ever has right now.
