It hasn't even been a year since Kanye West released his last solo album, Yeezus. Yet, it sounds like he's already gearing up to put out another one. On Monday afternoon, Live Nation revealed that Kanye is postponing the Australian leg of his "Yeezus" tour so that he can focus on finishing the album. "Due to unexpected timing requirements to finish his highly anticipated new studio album, scheduled for a 2014 release, Kanye regretfully announces the postponement of his upcoming tour dates in Australia," the release said.

After thinking about it a bit more, though, it does seem like releasing something this year would be a good move for him. Here are 7 reasons why it makes sense for Kanye to release a new album soon.
