8 Memorable Saturday Night Live Performances

Kendrick Lamar tore up the stage on "Saturday Night Live" this past weekend with a jazzy rendition of “Poetic Justice” and his hit “Swimming Pools (Drank).” K Dot isn’t the only artist in recent time to make his mark on the famous television show’s stage. Fire up the DVR and remember these amazing performances.

Janet Jackson
Without this lady, Kendrick’s “Poetic Justice” would never have happened. Ms. Janet killed her sexy “Anytime Anyplace” in this slow, sensual performance. Is it hot in here?

Frank Ocean
“A tornado flew around my room before you came…” Frank Ocean was in his zone during this performance in 2012. With classic arcade games as his background and (creepy) guitar from John Mayer providing accompaniment, this was one of Frank’s major shows during his takeover last year.

Mariah Carey
This behind-the-scenes rehearsal of Mariah Carey’s 1990 SNL performance was almost better than her actual show. “All In Your Mind” acapella (with those notes only dogs can hear) plus classic Mariah curls and '90s jeans? Yes, yes and yes.

2Pac and Ice-T
The late great 2Pac Shakur and Ice-T showed off their comedy stylings in this 1996 SNL skit. Pac could barely keep from cracking up laughing and Ice-T tried his best to keep it serious during the skit. Classic hip-hop moment.

Christina Aguilera
Who knew X-Tina was so funny? Her take on Samantha Jones from "Sex & The City" was hilarious and very uh, revealing. “I’m a dude!”

Beyonce and Justin Timberlake
Beyonce parodied her famous “Single Ladies” video with Justin Timberlake and Andy Samberg. Justin Timberlake in heels and a leotard? Comedy gold.

Drake
Drake took a page from his Degrassi acting days and showed his funny side alongside Andy Samberg in what might have been the best Drake interview ever. “A Wordless Seduction of Drake”…hilarious.
