Why It Got Banned: Portraying the assassination of a white supremacist politician is apparently bad for business. So MTV refused to air this video in 1991 when they found out that that was one of the controversial images captured in this clip.
Did It Deserve It? NO! MTV can obviously do ban whatever they want—but didn't this just feel like a clear violation of PE's right to freedom of speech? How is this any worse than some of the movies that get shown on cable nowadays?
