3. The Tami Test
Tami Roman continues to be every bit the trip. Let’s start off with the positive, though. Say, Tami spending time with her kids on the basketball court and prodding them for information she already knew so we can all be caught up. One of her daughters is already out of the house, leaving the two we saw yesterday. The oldest is still in the studio, though she’s beginning to think that maybe that’s not the path for her.
As she explains it, after a while you start to realize that maybe singing isn’t your thing. As much as I love Tami Roman’s “I’m A Slave To Your Loving,” there’s a reason she agreed. And hey, she’s got a college basketball scholarship to plot for. As for the younger daughter, she’s learning how to drive. Tami volunteered and she looked afraid. After all, this is Tami Roman, where patience doesn’t seem like much of a virtue.
Once she broke from the kids, Evelyn tells Tami that she along with Suzie were invited to a meet and greet at Tasha’s house. By the time Tami got to Suzie, though, the invitation somehow turned into a subtweet in Tami’s mind. Her insecurities were showing and I wish she’d put some concealer on them. Tami laments that she’s tired of meeting new people because she doesn’t feel like introducing them to “The School of This Is Who The F**k I Am.” I bet folks are tired of meeting you, too, Tami. Not to be outdone, messy as ever, Tami and Suzie start gossiping about Tasha’s marriage – i.e. the cheating rumors – and told Suzie to “research” the story with the hopes of her asking Tasha at the welcome dinner.
