There were plenty of guest surprises at the Sound for Change concert at London's Twickenham Stadium on Saturday. Called the "female Live Aid," and thrown by the same promoter, the concert raised awareness for the Chime for Change initiative, a global movement aimed at empowering women.
Beyonce, one of the co-founders of the program, headlined the night, but she didn't do it alone. While her set included the new track "Grown Woman," the singer also brought out hubby Jay-Z for "Crazy in Love."
Jennifer Lopez also got some help from Mary J. Blige on a cover of the Beatles track "Come Together." Timbaland, who along with John Legend was one of the only guys on the bill, invited out Duran Duran's SImon LeBon for "The Reflex."
Madonna helped kick off the event with a speech, but did not perform. Others on the bill included Florence + the Machine, Rita Ora, Haim , Ellie Goulding, Laura Pausini, Jesse J and Iggy Azalea.
