TeeFLii’s struggle-to-success story is so unpredictable
TeeFlii reached early pre-stardom during his teenage years. He was spotlighted in David LaChapelle’s 2005 Oscar-nominated doc Rize for his krumping talents as dancer Baby Tight Eyez. He then went on to dance alongside Chris Brown in his first three videos, and even landed a dancing role in Stomp the Yard. But his rise shortly turned into a fall. A few years later he was homeless, sleeping behind a Starbucks and unable to be the father he wanted to be to his young daughter. Coming up in South Central Los Angeles he was quite the juvie. He began smoking marijuana at age 8 and left home at 13, leaving his drug addicted mother to her vices. Now with a record deal with LA Reid’s Epic Records under his belt, it’s safe to say that FLii has come a long way.
