#7: Lloyd Banks
Believe it or not, the G-Unit brand is still ringing in 2011 and 50 Cent is not to blame. The brand’s resurgence has Lloyd Banks to thank, as his solid Hunger For More 2 album proved to those who once championed mixtape classics like “Victory Freestyle” and “Banks Workout” that the self-proclaimed punchline king still has bars. Not to mention a penchant for radio-ready singles (“Start It Up,” “Beamers, Benz, Bentley,” “I Don’t Deserve You”) not featuring 50 Cent. Eight years into the game, the Boy Wonder is still a lyrical genius.
