New York City street artist Billi Kid ditches his usual pop culture icons and mugs for the love of the game. As curator for The Art of Basketball (Wave 3), Kid and others applied the Krylon can and paint to the NBA backboard and All Star game basketball court.

The Art of Basketball exhibit makes its return to Orlando where it first showed during the 2012 NBA All-Star Weekend this past February. New York-based artists David Cooper and Cope2, Los Angeles’ Mr. Brainwash, stencil artist Joe Lurato from New Jersey, and the Dude Company hailing all the way from France are only some of the street and graffiti artists that Kid put together for the basketball-inspired show licensed by the NBA. Check out their take on art and basketball in the gallery ahead.
