Last night in Manhattan, the Sound & Style event went down. Hosted by Simone 'Boss Lady' Amelia in conjuction Reebok and Inspiration by Monster Cable, the event showcased tons of new Reebok products and Monster Cable's Inspiration headphones and highlighted some of the most talented women in music today.
With the Hpnotiq Harmonie flowing and the music blasting, folks mixed and mingled while enjoying appetizers from Ricardo's Steakhouse. A slew of female artists hit the stage to support the first Sound & Style event including Atlantic Records artists Brianna and Snow Da Product, Nina B, Jasmine Solano, Nyemiah Supreme, Gypsi, Audra, and Dai Burger. Boss Lady spoke on the event and how fashion and music influence each other.
"My concept for Sound & Style is to bring the worlds of music and fashion together and show how one wouldn't be the same without the other. The first volume in the event series showcased exciting female talent, both past and present, in hip-hop. Thanks to countless ladies putting in work over the years and most recently, Nicki Minaj's pop culture takeover, fans are now ready more than ever before to embrace women on the mic."
