Chris Brown looks to be in good standing with the courts as a judge dismissed a prosecutor’s motion to send the 24-year-old to jail Tuesday (Feb. 4), the AP reports.
Superior Court Judge James R Brandlin gave the singer a gold star, nothing “the R&B singer’s continued good behavior and progress in a rehabilitation program.”
The “Loyal” singer was charged with assault from an altercation that occurred in Washington, D.C. last October, which landed the Virginia native to complete three months in anger management rehab.
The motion was filed by Attorney Mary Murray, stating that CB “continues to pose an increasingly violent danger to society,” and that he violated probation, referring to a past incident where he reportedly threw a brick through his mother’s car window following a rehab meeting.
Longtime girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, also showed up by his side during his court hearing. Breezy must return to on Feb. 28 to give the judge a progress report. Check out the photos from the court affair above.
