Paul Van Dyk $52 million
Dubbed the “DJ for the people” Paul Van Dyk definitely puts in the time with his audiences, known for his long DJ sets he claims by the end of the night he is usually ravenous, thirsty, desperate to pee and exhausted. He grew up in Germany, and Berlin will always be his favorite city for its liberal nature, when asked about New York he said he felt it was very “fake” in comparison. Family man above his career, he is very open about his devotion to his wife and even cancelled a gig in Canada to be with his wife when she had an operation. Despite all his musical success, he believes his biggest achievement to date was getting married and says he avoids groupies by being prepared to leave by the time his set ends so he can rush home. As a child his interest in music was inspired by the radio and it still continues to inspire his work today. He shared a Grammy award for his work on the soundtrack for "The Dark Knight," which he admits was pretty “cool”. His future plans include working out more often and finally joining a gym. His attitude to life is refreshing in comparison to his peers who enjoy the party lifestyle being an international superstar DJ brings.
