The Moment: At the height of his beef with fellow Southern rapper Ludacris, T.I. was involved in an altercation with Luda's manager Chaka Zulu in June 2007.
The Disappointment: For years, Tip tried to change peoples' perception of him and prove that he was a CEO now who was all about his business. And at around this time, it was working. He was being taken more seriously But this event sent him back to square one and forced people to reevaluate the way they were looking at him at the time.
How T.I. Overcame It: T.I. acted quickly by apologizing for getting into the scuffle with Chaka Zulu a few days later at the BET Awards during his speech after he won the "Best Hip-Hop Artist" award. It was a good PR move and eventually resulted in him and Ludacris patching up their differences.
